A shortest Annapurna base camp trek could be planned within 6 days from Pokhara and back. The trip starts with a 3 hours off road vehicle ride to the base of Jhinu danda. The trail then follows the classic route, upstream Modi River and the same way back. Extensions of the dirt road deeper into the valley have made it possible to do the ABC trek in only 5 nights and 6 days from Pokhara and back. Since the itinerary escapes the hot and humid foothills, trekkers don't miss the highlights of the trek.

How safe is the itinerary ?

Short Annapurna Base Camp trek itinerary is very safe as it only escapes the trekking in the valley basin but follows the standards of trekking in high altitude. There are several night halts at above 2,000 m and 3,000 m before finally sleeping at the 4,200 m at base camp. This is moderately difficult trek which requires sound fitness or previous trekking experience even for longer version of the trek.

Excellent tour of Annapurna base camp

    Rating:

I went for a week-long trek on the Annapurna Conservation area with iTourNepal in April 2022. Great experience, somptuous landscapes. I am very satisfied with iTourNepal. Ravi was great at the early stages, including his advices to prepare the bag. They turned out very useful and accurate. And my guide, Dil, was outstanding, strong, reliable and attentive. Special thanks for helping me with my daily courses of Nepali language. I definitely recommend this trip to whoever has 2 weeks and two good legs!
